Barbara Sobowska started her adventure with start-ups while she was a student at Harvard Law School, where she worked with the Harvard Entrepreneurship Project.
After graduation, she spent several years working at global law firms advising clients on various M&A and capital markets transactions. Her passion for start-ups and new technologies led her to specialize as a start-up and VC lawyer. She advises venture capital funds and start-ups on investment processes and their plans to expand to the US.
Barbara is a Polish lawyer and is qualified both as an attorney-at-law in New York State and as a solicitor in England and Wales.
What Barbara enjoys most in working with start-ups and VC funds is their desire to create and to innovate, as well as their passion for changing the world.
When she is not working, as a dedicated foodie Barbara enjoys trying all types of food, gourmet and otherwise, and travelling – often just to eat the local food.
